Our recycling center specializes in the safe and efficient recycling of lithium-ion batteries. We provide consumers with the tools to identify if a battery is lithium-ion, and then guide them on how and where to bring the batteries for proper recycling. We also offer a convenient battery pick-up service, with available locations for drop-off shown.
Who are We?
- We specialize in lithium-ion batteries, and do not accept lead-acid or alkaline batteries.
- We currently only accept small and medium size batteries, and do not accept large lithium-ion batteries or EV batteries. We are working to be able to accept larger batteries soon.

At Lithium-Ion Recycling, our mission is to promote a cleaner environment by recycling and reusing materials. We believe that by reducing waste, we can make a positive impact on the planet.
Accepted Materials
We accept any form of lithium-ion battery except for EV batteries. Batteries must be in good condition and cannot have any damage, corrosion, rust, or holes. Please upload a photo onto our website if there is any doubt about the safety of your battery.
Drop-Off Locations
We have multiple drop-off locations throughout the city for your convenience. Our staff is always available to assist you with your recycling needs.
Community Outreach
At Lithium-ion recycling, we are committed to educating the community about the importance of recycling. On our website are videos and instructions on how to safely ship batteries, as well as showcases of how the world is improving regarding lithium-ion recycling.
Our Process
Once we receive the materials, we sort and process them to ensure that they are able to be recycling. We work with organizations like Redwood Recycling to send and reuse the extracted materials.
